Jane (Primary School Teacher)

"I think you would be hard pushed to find a more passionate and dedicated Forest School teacher than Lucy Sartori.  Her enthusiasm is infectious!

She delivers highly engaging lessons built around excellent subject knowledge that are stimulating and fun.  She insists on clear rules for safety and her delivery is wonderful.  I found her inspiring and personable with both children and staff.  It was always a treat to put on my wellies and accompany my class to her Forest School lessons."

" I highly recommend Lucy's forest school, Build and Bloom. Having seen firsthand how much she brings to her classes, it's clear that Lucy is incredibly experienced and passionate about outdoor learning. She has a natural ability to engage children in meaningful ways, creating an environment where they can explore, learn, and thrive in nature.

Lucy's lessons are always fun and interactive, filled with activities that spark curiosity and foster creativity. Whether the children are building dens, exploring the woodland, or learning about the environment, every session is carefully designed to be both educational and enjoyable. The children absolutely love being outside, and Lucy’s enthusiasm for the natural world is infectious, encouraging them to connect with nature in a way that feels both exciting and empowering.

Through Lucy’s years of experience as a teacher it is clear that she has a deep understanding of child development and an instinctive ability to tailor activities to the needs and interests of each group. The children leave her sessions with smiles on their faces, full of new knowledge and experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend Build and Bloom to any family looking for an enriching, joyful, and educational outdoor experience for their children. Lucy’s forest school is a place where children grow, learn, and truly bloom.

"Whenever Lucy Sartori took my class to forest school all the children and adults alike would return bursting with excitement of the activities they had been doing as well as all the knowledge they gained along the way. Lucy created child centred sessions that were immersive, fun and engaging as well as being incredibly well managed. She gave children opportunities to explore independently, weaving in her in-depth knowledge of the woods and encouraged children to take risks in a safe environment. Lucy utilised natural resources and gave children an opportunity to think creatively in a problem solving situation. Lucy’s passion for learning comes through her well balanced sessions where children (and adults!) immerse themselves in nature."
